Victory Once Again for The CUPRA Born at What Car? Awards 2025
The CUPRA Born has once again been crowned as the winner of the ‘Best to Drive’ in the small electric car category. This is the third year running the Born has achieved this award!
The What Car? Awards ceremony was held on the 23rd of January this year in London where the best and newest cars to hit the market were given their accolades and celebrated for the evening.
As the brand’s very first fully electric model, launched in 2021, the CUPRA Born was the start of CUPRA’s quest for electrification. It has since been joined by the fully electric Tavascan and varying hybrid models most notably the new CUPRA Terramar. The Born paved the way for these remarkable models to be developed with its heavily celebrated blend of performance, style and practicality.
The CUPRA Born has firmly solidified its reputation among its fellow electric car competition in recent years and remains a stand-out choice for anyone looking to make the change to electric. Its most recent achievement follows previous accolades at the Carbuyer, Autocar and Auto Trader awards in 2024.

Also acknowledged during the Born’s win was its fantastic safety features and technology integrations. Some of these features include its 12-inch infotainment screen, lane assist, cruise control and traffic sign recognition. Plus, the CUPRA Born has a 5-star NCAP safety rating, it doesn’t get much better than that!
