Pulman Group, the North East’s leading family-owned car retailer has strengthened it's partnership with South Shields FC.
The deal secures front of strip sponsorship for the 2025/26 season, the tenth consecutive year along with a major ‘Kick To Win’ fan challenge thought to be the biggest of its kind for any sixth-tier football club in the country.
The sponsorship renewal ensures Pulman Volkswagen front of shirt branding for first team, international, and women’s home shirts, and CUPRA branding for the teams’ away shirts.
This long-standing sponsorship has meant a great deal to South Shields FC. Commercial Director Carl Mowatt stated how much both parties have benefited from the partnership.
“Our partnership with Pulman Group reaches beyond strip sponsorship and extends to the South Shields Business Club and outstanding joint marketing opportunities like ‘Kick to Win’. It enables us to expand and develop as a club, especially with our Academy and International teams which continue to go from strength to strength.

Ahead of the 2025/26 season, Pulman Group and South Shields FC have announced an exciting competition with a chance for one lucky fan to win a Volkswagen ID.4 electric car worth over £40,000.
Not only does this finalist get the chance to win the grand prize, but there will be two other finalists selected. One will receive a table for 4 people in hospitality at South Shields FC’s first game of the 2025/26 season and the other will receive a signed South Shields FC shirt.
And there is more good news. Everyone who enters the Kick to Win competition will receive a voucher for £500 extra towards their part-exchange on a new or used car purchased from Pulman Group before the 30th of September 2025.

Pulman Group and South Shields FC will randomly draw three names to receive a pair of complimentary tickets to a major South Shields pre-season fixture on the 12th of July 2025.
The final draw for the three finalists will take place during the half-time break. Then one of the lucky three will go on to have the opportunity to win the Volkswagen ID.4 in front of a sell-out crowd at South Shield’s home ground 1st Cloud Arena by completing the Kick to Win challenge.
