Rugby star George Ford was looking for his next car and Pulman Group happily held out a helping hand for George to secure his own Volkswagen Touareg Black Edition.
Currently playing for Sale Sharks and holding 96 England caps, rugby union player George Ford has had a fantastic rugby career debuting for England at just 16 years old and seeing success winning the Six Nations in 2016 and 2017.
George is the second rugby player Pulman Group have helped secure a new car as another George, George Martin collected his car earlier this year. Interestingly both started out at Leicester Tigers with George Ford making over 40 appearances for the club between 2009-2013 taking the Tigers on to win the Premiership title and then returning as an established England international at the start of the 2017/18 season.
His current team is Sale Sharks, joining them on a long-term contract in 2022/23 where he has made 15 appearances so far and is described by the Sharks Director of Rugby as one of the world’s best fly-halves.
George and his team reached out to Pulman Group to ask for their help to find George his ideal car and Pulman Group were happy to help. George travelled to Pulman Volkswagen Durham to collect his new Volkswagen Touareg Black Edition and described his excitement about receiving the SUV “I’ve always liked bigger cars and it’s great for the family as well as the dogs. I’m really excited about getting into the Touareg.”
