‘Kick to Win’ – Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter and Event Partners
The ‘Kick to Win’ competition (“the Contest”) is a promotional event organised by Mike Pulman Limited (“the Promoter”) trading as Mike Pulman Holdings Limited, Mike Pulman Limited, Pulman SEAT Limited & Pulman Skoda Limited herein known as Pulman Group in partnership with South Shields Football Club 1888 Limited trading as and herein known as South Shields FC.
2. Eligibility and Entry Requirements
- Entry is free of charge and open to UK residents aged 17 or over.
- Entries must be submitted via the registration form available on the Pulman Group website www.pulmangroup.co.uk.
- By entering, participants agree to receive marketing communications from both Pulman Group and South Shields FC.
- Entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal data by both organisations for marketing purposes, in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
- Entrants must be available and willing to attend a major South Shields FC pre-season fixture on 12/07/2025.
Ineligible Participants
The following individuals are not eligible to enter or participate in the Contest:
- Current or former sports persons who have competed at:
- Professional or Semi-Professional levels in Association Football, Rugby Union, or Rugby League.
- Any level of national representation above under-16 in the sports listed above.
- National League levels 1–4 or their provincial/international equivalents outside of England.
- Employees of the Promoter, South Shields FC, Underwriters, and any associated promotional or advertising agencies, as well as their immediate family members.
3. Competition Format and Prize Details
- Three (3) Finalists will be selected at random from all valid entries on 03/07/2025.
- Each Finalist will receive two (2) tickets to attend the South Shields FC pre-season fixture on 12/07/2025, with a 4:00 PM kick-off.
- One (1) of the three Finalists will be randomly selected to take part in the ‘Kick to Win’ Challenge during half-time.
Main Prize
- If the selected Contestant successfully completes the challenge in accordance with the challenge rules, they will win a Volkswagen ID.4, with a retail value of over £40,000.
Runner-Up Prizes
Bonus for All Entrants
- Every valid entrant will receive a Voucher for £500 extra towards a part exchange when purchasing a new or used car from Pulman Group before 30th September 2025.
- The two remaining Finalists (not selected for the challenge) will each win one of the following (drawn at random):
- A Table for Four in hospitality at the first South Shields FC home match of the 2025/26 season.
- A Signed South Shields FC Shirt.
4. ‘Kick to Win’ Challenge Conditions
To ensure contest integrity and compliance with insurance policy terms:
- The Contest format must not be disclosed prior to the event date (12/07/2025). Any unauthorised disclosure will void the competition and invalidate any claim.
- The Contest must be video recorded, and the footage must clearly show:
- The placement of the ball at the designated spot.
- The execution of the kick.
- The complete movement of the ball throughout the challenge, including any contact with objects and until the ball comes to rest.
- Each Contestant is permitted only one (1) attempt at the challenge. No warm-up or practice kicks are allowed under any circumstances.
- The challenge must use:
- A standard size 5 football, inflated to the pressure specified in Football Association regulations.
- Regulation goalposts, as defined by the Football Association.
- The selected Contestant must:
- Be randomly drawn from eligible entries.
- Have not participated previously.
- Not be substituted under any circumstances.
5. General Terms
- Finalists will be contacted using the information provided upon entry. If a Finalist cannot be reached or is deemed ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternate.
- All prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
- By entering, participants consent to the use of their name, image, and footage from the Contest for marketing and promotional purposes by Pulman Group and South Shields FC.
- The Promoter reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the competition due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to force majeure.
- These terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
6. Legal and Compliance
- The Promoter is solely responsible for ensuring that the Contest complies with all relevant laws, licenses, and regulations.
- The Contest format and selection process must be agreed in writing with the Underwriters. No amendments are permitted without their prior written consent.
