The New Golf GTI: Open For Order
It’s the car with the world’s biggest fan base, a true classic and regarded as an ultimate icon among the compact sports car and hot hatch community. The Golf GTI is loved by many and the brand new one is now available to order.
The new model is set to be even sportier and sleeker with the output of the turbocharged engine increasing by 15kW to make the new car 265PS with a 0-100kmph of 5.9 seconds. That’s fast.

The iconic red stripe across the front grille remains with the additional enhancement of the illuminated Volkswagen badge. If you like the MK5 Golf you’re sure to like the wheel design as it’s reminiscent of the classic Detroit wheels that were introduced for the fifth generation GTI.
As you can expect with all Golf GTI models, you get the racer’s dream interior with sports seats embellished with the GTI logo and red stitching to match that iconic stripe.
What some older models lack in technology, this model makes up for with a fully revamped infotainment system. The 12.9” touchscreen offers a user-friendly menu with clear graphics, something that’s extremely beneficial to a driver. Voice assistant IDA also makes an appearance in the new model with ChatGPT integrated to maximise IDA’s knowledge and helpfulness.
Now for the petrol-heads favourite section, the performance. This car includes some seriously cool technology to squeeze every last drop of performance out of the car’s engine and surrounding parts. The GTI includes progressive steering, diff lock on the front axle and an adaptive chassis control system.
A Vehicle Dynamics Manager in the car optimises these features for you to give you superior driving dynamics offering modes such as Eco for your drive to work, Comfort for your long-haul drive, Sport to really have fun and an Individual mode for tailored driving experience.
