Volkswagen Reveal ID. EVERY1 Concept Car

Last night Volkswagen unveiled their new all-electric concept car the ID. EVERY1 to complete their electric line up.

Volkswagen ID Everyone

The ID. EVERY1 is coming to production in 2027 so you’ll have to wait a little while to see one in person at one of our showrooms, but we’re excited to receive one none the less!

The price point of this new model is significantly lower than your average electric car, €20,000 or around £18,000 in the UK. This cements Volkswagen’s statement that this is the all-electric Volkswagen “from Europe, for Europe”. Eventually, this model will sit alongside the production version of the ID. 2all concept car which was unveiled previously.

Both upcoming models are part of the new Electric Urban Car Family. These cars will be front-wheel drive based on Volkswagen’s new modular electric drive platform (MEB). Thanks to this revolutionary front-wheel drive technology, the MEB platform offers fantastic space utilisation and maximum efficiency.

The ID. Every1 will have a battery range of at least 155 miles, reach a top speed of 80mph and is powered by a newly developed electric drive motor that generates 95PS or 70kW of power.

In terms of space, the ID. EVERY1 is positioned between an up! and the new ID. 2all concept car as well as being just smaller than the current polo model. This model is a four-seater, but don’t let that put you off, there’s still plenty of room for luggage and personal items with 305 litres of luggage storage.

The ID. EVERY1 represents a generation of electric car that is truly aimed at the audiences who would buy one, making the move to electric driving easier for everyone and easier on their pockets too!

Volkswagen CEO Thomas Schäfer said:

“The ID. EVERY1 is the Champions League of automobile manufacturing and represents the last piece of the puzzle on our way to the widest model selection in the volume segment. We will then offer every customer the right car with the right drive system, including affordable, all-electric entry-level mobility.”
