Pulman Group Celebrate 2024 Euros In Style!

As some eagle-eyed viewers might have noticed we have been extra busy here at Pulman Group devising various challenges and fun ways to celebrate the 2024 European Championships!

We have had so much fun travelling around our North East showrooms inviting staff to take on our three football challenges throughout the month and our Pulman people were certainly competitive.

The Keep-Up Challenge

Our first challenge was the Pulman Keep-Up challenge, and we were excited to see who had the skills to come out on top and win the prize!

We had some fantastic participants, and a good effort was made across our showrooms, but Jamie from Volkswagen Durham came out on top with a whopping 238 keep-ups followed by Scott with 43 and in third place was Jake with 21.

Watch the video below to see all the attempts made!

The Pulman Euros Quiz

The aim of this one was for each team to answer as many England and Euros themed questions as they could in 60 seconds, this was a tough one. We were shocked to discover that two teams were at a draw!

Volkswagen Durham and Škoda Durham both answered 10 questions correctly and we had to devise a tie-breaker question to determine the winner…

Pulman Volkswagen were victorious in answering the tiebreaker, but why not watch our quiz video and see how many of the questions you could have answered correctly?

Škoda Cramlington Octavia Challenge

We also had a small challenge for our customers from Škoda Cramlington where you had to guess how many beachballs we had blown up and put into the new Škoda Octavia and we’re thrilled to say a lot of you got it right!

There were 60 beachballs inside the Octavia.

The Pulman Penalty Shootout

Our third and final challenge was the Pulman Penalty Shootout. However, instead of using the traditional goal as the target, we put a Pulman spin on things and decided to use the boot of a new Volkswagen Tiguan (don’t worry we used beachballs instead of footballs!).

To make the test even harder we set up two points to take a shot from. One closer to the Tiguan and the other much further away. 5 points were rewarded for making the first shot and 10 points from the second.

Out of every participant, we had only 2 who made it in from the furthest point and they were Laura from Volkswagen Durham and Dave from Škoda Durham who managed it twice and was crowned the winner!

Euros Decorations

To really kick the celebrations off, at the start of June we decided to decorate our showrooms to show our support for the England team and celebrate the Euros throughout the entire month.

Look at some of the creative ideas our teams had across the group!
