PULMAN GROUP RENEW SPONSORSHIP WITH SOUTH SHIELDS FC FOR ANOTHER YEAR

Pulman Group have proudly renewed their sponsorship for the ninth year running with South Shields Football Club as they prepare for the new season with the launch of a fantastic new Umbro supplied kit.

Pulman have been sponsoring South Shields FC for nine years starting out with a media sponsorship. They then added the back of shirt sponsor shortly after before moving to a front of shirt sponsor three years ago. As well as featuring on the men’s first team shirts, Pulman Group also sponsor front of shirt for the women’s team and more recently the hugely successful South Shields International Academy.

Pulman Group have been alongside South Shields FC throughout their recent success with four promotions in the last nine years as well as their FA Vase win in 2017. The partnership grew further when the club took the decision to make their playing staff full-time professionals in the 2021/22 season.

As the men’s team gear up for their next season with new manager Elliot Dickman in the Vanarama National League North, Pulman Group are keen to follow their success in previous years with the club now only two promotions away from the EFL.

The new shirts will see Pulman Volkswagen featured on the striking new home kits whilst in what was a first for the Vanarama National League North last season, having alternate branding on the home and away shirts, Pulman CUPRA will feature again on the front of the away shirts.

When asked why Pulman chose to continue their sponsorship with South Shields FC, Operations Director Michael Lines said:

“Many years ago when we were looking to sponsor a local club and expand the Pulman Brands, South Shields really stood out to us as they have the same family values as our business, and it’s been going from strength to strength since then.

It’s been a brilliant partnership and one we intend to continue.”

Carl Mowatt, Operations Director from South Shields FC also detailed how important it is to have sponsorship from businesses and support from fans for the club quoting:

“It’s imperative, it’s a lifeblood for our club, our fan base is fantastic and the sponsorship from local businesses is imperative.

We’re so grateful as a club to have these people behind us.”

Both shirts are available to purchase from today and the new home shirt will be debuted in South Shields friendly against Sunderland on the 13th July at 12:30pm.
