Enyaq Wins ‘Best Medium SUV’ At Business Car Awards
At the recent 2024 Business Car Awards, the Škoda Enyaq has scooped the prize for the ‘Best Medium SUV’. This accolade comes after winning Business Car’s ‘Car of the Year’ title three years ago.
The Enyaq was also dubbed “one of the best EV all-rounders” by Martyn Collins, Editor of Business Car. He recognised the model for being stronger than ever before with its drivetrain, battery and infotainment upgrades all receiving a special mention.
As well as receiving this coveted award the Enyaq has also picked up ‘Best Electric Large SUV’ in the EcoCar Electrified Top 50 Awards and they also named the Enyaq in its ‘Top 50 Cars of the Year’ in 2022.
The Škoda Enyaq has been a firm favourite among electric car buyers and reviewers since it was released, but what makes the Enyaq so appealing?
The Enyaq is a completely fresh take on technology to push performance limits while maintaining an environmental responsibility and so far, it’s succeeded! It’s been described as having “electrifying acceleration” and housing a whole host of connectivity and gadgets.
When taking into consideration the interior of the Enyaq models, Škoda put their pride in better connectivity through the infotainment system and Škoda App, allowing users to control their cars functions seamlessly and easily. One of these features includes being able to use smart charging schedules to take advantage of cheaper, off-peak electricity tariffs.
Sticking with the interior design of the Enyaq, it has set the precedent for all Škoda’s new models due to the popularity and simplicity of the styling. The premium design features the highest quality, sustainable materials used across the upholstery and even the dashboard and door panels.
Overall this is a fantastic achievement for the Škoda Enyaq and makes this all-electric SUV a great choice for an all-round vehicle.
